CHE 301
About This Course
Course Code: CHE301
Course Title: Chemical Engineering Laboratory
Course Credit: 2
CHE301 is a fully practical course. It is very similar to 100level practical and 200level ELA, only with some very few differences. The course requires that students carry out laboratory work at least once a week for six weeks (this may vary); and after every experiment, the student is required to prepare a laboratory report. This report has a format which must be followed carefully by the student to ensure excellence in the course. The report is typed not hand written (this may vary) and submitted on a specified date before the next experiment.
While this course is disliked by a lot of students because of the demanding tasks of going to the lab and spending a lot of hours preparing reports, it is a very important discipline in the life of a student, as it prepares them for more professional technical report writing and lab work.
